Rippers Freestyle Camp

Yesterday (29th) saw the start of the two day 2xs/WWWC Rippers freestyle camp, Unfortunately the forecast of 20-25knots didn’t show up and the kids were stuck with 15-17 knots which just wasn’t quite enough. It picked up in the afternoon with the dropping tide but it soon dropped off. I got out in afternoon on my 5.2m Rock and the Twintip and mangaed to pump into a few Flaka’s but then it was just wobbling and playing around in the flat water! This was also the case for Jamie Drummond Whereas Adam Sims was cruising around on his 5.8m!

Today was meant to be the windy day but it just hasn’t showed up, the surf is looking pretty good so i’m off for a wave!
